Founded in 1981, Kahala Construction began as a historic home restoration firm and over the years has earned a National Association of Home Builders Merit Award, a Hawaii Renaissance Grand Prize, and Hawaii Renaissance
Merit Awards. Kahala Construction is comprised of a talented group of seasoned individuals and sub-contractors.

When Kahala Construction began in the 1980’s, there were very few new homes being built that incorporated traditional Hawaiian Style architecture and finishes. Developing the kind of home that blends contemporary finishes and maintains the sort of architecture that can stand the test of time has been the company’s focus.  Kahala has developed and sold unique homes built around this tradition and style.
